Vin Number or License Plate Number
Old Registration
Proof of Insurance
Valid Louisiana Driver’s License or ID

How Much Time Do I Have On My License Plate

Car Plates: 2 years
Truck Plates: 4 years
Motorcycle Plates: 4 years
Trailer Plates: 1 year, 4 year, or Permanent (in certain cases)

*Some truck plates may not be given 4 years due to weight Take Out section about Late Fees and Penalties.
